Job Description:

The Hygiene Officer at Sheraton Hai Phong ensures the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen area, food quality, and adherence to company standards. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down workstations, serving food, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety protocols. The role requires effective communication, teamwork, and a professional appearance.

Job Responsibility:

Communicate assistance needed during busy periods to the Chef
Ensure quality of food items
Set-up and break down work station
Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
Serve food in proper portions
Ensure food storage areas are clean
Dispose of glass properly
Set up serving stations
Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
Follow company and safety policies
Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Maintain uniform and personal appearance
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Listen and respond appropriately to concerns
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
Ensure adherence to quality expectations
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
None license or certification
