Job Description:

Hygiene Manager position at The Westin Ningbo, responsible for supervising and coordinating operations to ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards, providing training, and advising on food handling practices.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise and coordinate operations in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards
Advise on proper food handling practices
Provide food hygiene training for all new hires and trainees
Identify key areas of risk in various food operations and take preemptive remedial action
Provide technical advice on product labeling issues for fulfilling government requirements
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees
Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Address guests' service needs
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college in Environmental Health or Culinary
2 to 4 years of related work experience
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards
Proper food handling practices
Food hygiene training capabilities
Ability to identify key areas of risk in food operations
Technical knowledge on product labeling for government requirements
