Job Description:

Hydropower Performance & Reliability Engineer position in EDP's Renewable Generation Assets business platform, focusing on analyzing hydropower asset operations, developing data processing algorithms, and supporting reliability projects for strategic asset management.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure the analysis of hydropower asset operations through the processing and validation of data
Develop processes and algorithms for the processing, analysis, and validation of operational data
Analyze incidents or events occurring during operations
Support the development of mechanisms for providing operational data to internal and external entities
Implement reports related to the operation and performance of hydropower plants
Participate in the analysis of hydropower plant operations and validate data records in Water Management applications
Optimize the process of classification and coding of fault reports and work orders
Support the registration and inventory of equipment and the development of tools to optimize their updating
Prepare and update the operating rules of the various hydropower plants
Establish and calculate reliability indicators in coordination with support and asset management areas
Develop and implement reliability projects that enable more accurate identification of future investment needs in assets

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineer or equivalent
Valued knowledge/experience in SAP-PM
Valued knowledge/experience in SQL and Oracle Databases
Valued knowledge/experience in VBA and Python
Valued knowledge/experience in OSIsoft PI tools (ProcessBook and DataLink)
