This position is based in Kansas and requires temporary on-site travel at times for approximately two months to support pharmacy operations, staff oversight, and sterile compounding compliance initiatives. During this assignment, the Pharmacist in Charge will work closely with the local team to ensure safe preparation and verification of sterile medications while maintaining regulatory and quality standards. Hours: Flexible, M-F: day shift. Remote when not in office. Part time options.
Job Responsibility:
Oversees sterile compounding operations to ensure compliance with USP <797>, state board regulations, and internal quality standards
Verifies accuracy, sterility, labeling, dosing, and preparation of compounded sterile medications before dispensing
Maintains quality assurance programs, documentation, environmental monitoring, and audit readiness
Reviews medication orders for clinical appropriateness, compatibility, and patient safety
