We are expanding our global IT Infrastructure & Security Operations team and are looking for a Hybrid System Engineer based in the Philippines who is excited to work at the intersection of enterprise infrastructure and cloud innovation. As a System Engineer, you will help design, secure, and operate Manuchar’s global hybrid IT landscape, supporting thousands of users across more than 50 countries. You will bridge on‑premises Windows environments with Microsoft Azure cloud services, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability for a truly international organization. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role where your work directly supports business continuity, security, and future‑ready IT transformation.

Job Responsibility

  • Build and operate Microsoft Azure environments (VMs, networking, storage, App Services, Entra ID) that power global operations
  • Shape and enforce Azure governance and cost management (FinOps) to keep cloud environments secure and efficient
  • Own and evolve Windows Server infrastructure (AD, DNS, GPO, file services) in hybrid enterprise environments
  • Maintain VMware virtualization platforms, backups, and disaster recovery capabilities
  • Design and support hybrid identity solutions (Azure AD Connect, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access)
  • Apply security hardening standards across cloud and on‑prem workloads
  • Partner with security, SOC, and service delivery teams during incidents and vulnerability remediation
  • Support ISO 27001 and NIS2 compliance, documentation, and asset governance
  • Collaborate daily with regional IT teams, vendors, and Microsoft in a global setup

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in system engineering or infrastructure roles
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, security)
  • Solid background in Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Defender)
  • Familiarity with ITSM processes and working in ticket‑driven environments
  • Exposure to infrastructure‑as‑code (Bicep, Terraform)
  • Understanding of security and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, CIS, GDPR)
  • Comfortable working in international, multi‑site environments
  • Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam
  • Fluent in English
