Job Description

Counselor / Social Worker. Location: Ohio. Organization Type: Community-Based / Nonprofit. Schedule: Full-time (hours may vary based on program needs). Pay: Based on experience and licensure level.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct intakes, clinical assessments, and develop individualized treatment/service plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support participant stability and growth
  • Coordinate referrals and advocate for clients across systems (education, workforce, reentry)
  • Track participant progress and adjust plans as needed to support goal achievement
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation including case notes and assessments
  • Collaborate with clinical supervisors, coordinators, and program staff
  • attend supervision and case reviews
  • Support program participants through trauma-informed, strengths-based approaches

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's preferred (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related)
  • Ohio license or eligibility required (LSW, LPC, LPCC, LISW, or equivalent)
  • Open to candidates working toward independent licensure
  • Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
