Job Description

Mint Selection is seeking HVDC Engineers for contract opportunities supporting offshore wind, interconnector, and transmission infrastructure projects. These specialist roles will support the design, integration, commissioning, and optimisation of HVDC systems across large scale energy infrastructure projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the design and integration of HVDC transmission systems
  • Work on converter stations, cables, and control and protection systems
  • Perform or review system studies including EMT and harmonic analysis
  • Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and engineering teams
  • Support commissioning, FAT, SAT, and troubleshooting activities
  • Ensure compliance with technical and project requirements

Requirements

  • Previous HVDC engineering experience within transmission or offshore wind projects
  • Understanding of converter technologies, system studies, and transmission infrastructure
  • Experience working with OEMs and multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong technical analysis and reporting skills
  • Relevant electrical engineering qualifications required
