Hvac/ventilation Engineer

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair faults in ventilation, plant, and control systems
• Carry out risk assessments and ensure work complies with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and health and safety standards
• Investigate equipment failures and complete appropriate remedial actions
• Install minor works, coordinate with other trades, and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Liaise with contractors to ensure safe and compliant working practices
• Support and guide colleagues while developing skills through training
• Communicate effectively with staff and follow operational and safety procedures

• Strong knowledge of safe systems of work related to HVAC, control systems, and general construction
• Ability to identify faults, analyse issues, and implement solutions
• Experience contributing to design and build projects
• Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and safe isolation procedures
• Mechanical engineering qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent)
• Self-motivated, confident, and able to make sound decisions under pressure
• Good communication and organisational skills

Experience using facilities management or building information systems is desirable
