Job Description:

Bemana is seeking an HVAC Telecom Technician to support a rapidly expanding critical infrastructure services company in Albany, NY. In this field-based role, you will diagnose and repair HVAC systems at cell tower sites. This is a hands-on, independent position ideal for experienced HVAC technicians with strong troubleshooting and repair skills who thrive in the field.

Job Responsibility:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair HVAC systems at telecom/cell tower sites
  • Work primarily on 5–10 ton packaged HVAC units
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs), emergency repairs, and component change-outs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Apply strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in the field
  • Operate independently while traveling within your service radius

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on HVAC service and repair experience
  • EPA Universal Certification required
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair capabilities
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Mechanical aptitude with electrical troubleshooting experience (preferred)
  • Reliable, self-sufficient, and comfortable working independently in the field
  • Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule
