Job Description:

We are hiring multiple HVAC Technicians to support us in this contract. These are permanent full-time positions based at key sites across the Northern Territory including Darwin, Larrakeyah, Robertson and Tindal. You will provide operational maintenance, repairs and services to the air conditioning systems, controlled temperature environments, and refrigeration systems installed throughout all Defence buildings, structures, and infrastructure. This role ensures the optimal functionality and operational efficiency of these systems to support Defence operations and personnel.

Job Responsibility:

Conducting regular preventative maintenance of HVAC systems
Diagnosing and repairing faults in HVAC systems
Installing new HVAC systems and components
Monitoring and adjusting system controls
Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work
Responding promptly to emergency repair requests
Collaborating with other maintenance and engineering teams
Following all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

Current Australian Refrigeration Mechanic Trade qualification
Demonstrated experience with chilled water systems and all components including chillers, air handling units and BMS control systems
Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment
ArcTick Refrigerant Handling Licence
Restricted or Open Electrical Licence
Valid driver's licence
Australian Citizen
Able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance
