Job Description:

Each Supervisor reports directly to the Construction Manager and is responsible for managing subcontractor activities within their specific discipline. They ensure that plant construction work is carried out in compliance with erection schedules, project documentation, and the assigned cost budget, while adhering to quality and safety procedures outlined in the subcontract terms. The Supervisor may be supported by one or more assistants.

Job Responsibility:

  • Check Supplier’s material and technical documentation delivery schedule
  • Control and approve Method Statements submitted by Subcontractors
  • Ensure implementation of HSE procedures and standards
  • Participate in HSE activities
  • Check schedule and promote action to recover delays
  • Check equipment and manpower adequacy and works conformity
  • Perform inspections and sign certificates
  • Prepare non-conformity register
  • Detect design errors
  • Check Subcontractors’ work progress status sheets
  • Manage vendor specialists
  • Assist Contract Manager/Engineer in defining prices, preparing amendments, and discussing claims

Requirements:

  • University degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in construction of large oil & gas plants/EPC projects as HVAC Supervisor/Engineer
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, management skills
  • Team-oriented skills, self-motivation, and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution
