Randstad C&P are working with a global FM client to onboard a HVAC Supervisor in Cumbria. This role involves overseeing a dedicated technical team to deliver high-quality maintenance and installation services across a diverse site. You will be responsible for ensuring all ventilation, AHU, and fire damper works are executed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining excellent client relationships.
Job Responsibility:
Manage all planned and reactive HVAC maintenance through Archibus to meet contract SLAs
Resolve client queries promptly and manage technical escalations to ensure satisfaction
Develop Safe Systems of Work and SSOW documentation in line with safety regulations
Coordinate with planning teams to optimise technician schedules and resource efficiency
Track WIP progress, including financial forecasting and resolving delivery delays
Oversee site safety through pre-job briefs, workface inspections, and incident reporting
Lead team development through regular briefings, technical coaching, and performance reviews
Survey and quote for additional project works, providing accurate cost estimates and scopes
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in HVAC or an equivalent technical qualification
IOSH Managing Safely certification
Full clean driving licence
Proven experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory capacity within a technical environment
Extensive hands-on experience in the maintenance, repair, and installation of AHU units, fire dampers, and ventilation ductwork
Strong ability to organise workloads and collaborate effectively with multi-discipline operational teams
Nice to have:
General knowledge of nuclear site non-core operational practices is desirable but not essential
What we offer:
Competitive salary of up to £46,500 per annum
Working Hours: 38 hours per week, day shift only
Shift Pattern: Alternating 5-day and 4-day weeks (compressed hours)
