Requirements

Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written using MS Office suite
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to travel for extended periods of time, as required
Knowledge of HVAC is preferred
Can demonstrate knowledge of construction process and job coordination by job-related experience
Travel as necessary
Bachelor’s degree and/or at least four years of job experience as a Construction Project Superintendent

Job Responsibility

Provide day-to-day leadership to direct materials, equipment, and installers
Input on estimates, schedules and quality control during pre-construction and construction
Ensure best practices in field operations to guarantee timely completion, quality control and project success
Responsible for meeting or improving project schedules
Conducts necessary meetings with customer for project review and ensures meetings are documented
Responsible for on-site quality control, fit and finish
Manages and coordinates subcontractor activities on site
Conducts weekly/daily job safety meetings
Tracks subcontractor labor through daily sign in sheets
Develops punch lists with customer

Requirements

OSHA 30 certification preferred
Skilled field supervisor with at least 10 years of experience managing crews and running multimillion dollar construction projects
An active Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing license
Proficient knowledge of the National building Code, local codes and construction safety requirements
Must have at least basic computer and writing skills
Demonstrate and uphold all of Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation and growth

Manage, evaluate and train field project team members
Plan, organize and direct production of contracted scope of work
Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors and other trades
Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades as well as the general contractor to identify and resolve any conflicts while providing excellent customer service
Ensure all installations meet quality and mechanical code standards
Manage material and personnel requirements necessary to meet schedule
Adhere to Power Design’s standards of quality, safety and best practices

Requirements

OSHA 30 certification preferred
Experience with complex Duct Systems, sheet metal, grease duct, exhaust duct, fire dampers
Experience with Hydronic piping systems, Chiller, Boiler, Water Source Heat Pump refrigeration systems
Progressive Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leaders who love using technology and want a clear career path
Skilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects
Active journeyman or master Mechanical or Plumbing license preferred
Proficient knowledge of the IMC, IPC, and IBC Standards
local codes
and construction safety requirements
Knowledge in Managing Plumbing Systems and / or HVAC Air distribution systems a plus
