We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable HVAC Service Technician to be the expert comfort hero for our clients.The HVAC Service Technician will expertly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems within a tight Long Island service radius.

Job Responsibility:

Expertly perform residential HVAC service calls, ensuring all repairs are completed accurately and efficiently
Must maintain proper truck stock to maximize first-call resolutions
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex heating, cooling, and ventilation system malfunctions by asking the right questions and applying proven technical expertise
Establish customer rapport by providing professional service and offering appropriate maintenance, repair, and replacement solutions
Clearly explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient, or underperforming systems to clients
Maintain a professional, clean, and organized job site and a well-inventoried company service vehicle
Train and mentor apprentices, helping to develop the next generation of skilled technicians
Weekend flexibility is required during the busy season

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience performing residential HVAC service calls
Must demonstrate high accountability, possess a low ego, be coachable, and maintain a strong communicator approach
Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record
Must own a professional set of tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills, tech savvy, and an upbeat/positive attitude

Nice to have:

Oil burner service experience is a plus
Prior Nexstar training is a huge plus
