A respected contractor in the commercial and institutional construction field in Laval for over 30 years is actively seeking a Ventilation Project Manager (Sheet Metal) to join its construction team. This is an opportunity to manage several stimulating projects (ranging from $100,000 to $500,000) simultaneously. You will join an environment where technical expertise is valued and where employees build long-term careers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning and coordinating the complete execution of the project
  • Managing the scheduling of work teams
  • Ensuring the procurement of necessary resources for the worksite
  • Actively managing changes and unforeseen issues
  • Managing project-related risks, including implementing mitigation strategies for OHS (Occupational Health and Safety)
  • Supervising the project team and ensuring fluid and effective communication
  • Analyzing project needs and gathering requirements from various stakeholders
  • Ensuring rigorous monitoring of project progress
  • Implementing quality management practices throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in project management
  • Proven experience in the HVAC (ventilation) field
  • Proven skills in team management and leadership
  • A good command of negotiation and conflict management techniques
  • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
