Job Responsibility:
Manage HVAC operations of commercial facilities ensuring optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort
Oversee heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems including chillers, HWU, AHUs, cooling towers, and building management systems
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment lifecycle and minimize operational downtime
Lead geographically dispersed HVAC teams including site technicians, supervisors, and coordinate contractor services
Negotiate vendor contracts, manage service agreements, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Monitor energy consumption across facilities portfolio and implement cost-saving initiatives and sustainability programs
Prepare annual HVAC budgets, capital expenditure plans, and analyze system performance data for optimization opportunities
Coordinate emergency response protocols and troubleshoot complex system issues across multiple locations
Provide technical training to core team, evaluate performance, and elevate the overall efficiency of the team through continuous development programs
Conduct comprehensive inventory management of HVAC equipment, spare parts, and critical components to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize downtime
Perform regular gap analysis to identify skill deficiencies, system inefficiencies, and process improvements across facilities operations
Develop succession planning and cross-training initiatives to build organizational capability and reduce dependency on key personnel
Establish performance metrics and KPIs for team productivity, energy efficiency, and maintenance effectiveness with regular monitoring and reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
10+ years HVAC experience with proven management capabilities
