Job Description:

Join our installation team as an HVAC Install Helper and start building a rewarding career in the trades. This role is perfect for an entry-level candidate or someone with a few years of experience who is eager to learn, work hard, and assist skilled mechanics with the installation of residential HVAC systems. You’ll gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship, and play a vital role in ensuring our projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist lead HVAC Installers with all phases of residential equipment installation, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork
  • Organize and retrieve tools, equipment, and materials needed for the job site, ensuring the correct items are ready when needed
  • Help prepare the work area by laying down drop cloths and setting up necessary equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times, including final clean-up and debris removal
  • Safely use and maintain hand tools and basic power tools under the direction of the lead technician
  • Assist in the measuring, cutting, and installation of ductwork and ventilation components
  • Follow all instructions from the Lead Installer promptly and accurately to ensure efficient project completion and adherence to deadlines
  • Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and best practices while working on site

Requirements:

  • Open to entry-level candidates or individuals with 2–3 years of experience in HVAC installation
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn the fundamentals of HVAC installation and the trade
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and general construction safety is preferred
  • Physical ability to perform demanding work, including lifting heavy objects (50 lbs+), climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces or various weather conditions
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation to and from the shop/job sites
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent communication skills for taking direction and interacting professionally with team members and homeowners
