Job Responsibility:
Assist lead HVAC Installers with all phases of residential equipment installation, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork
Organize and retrieve tools, equipment, and materials needed for the job site, ensuring the correct items are ready when needed
Help prepare the work area by laying down drop cloths and setting up necessary equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times, including final clean-up and debris removal
Safely use and maintain hand tools and basic power tools under the direction of the lead technician
Assist in the measuring, cutting, and installation of ductwork and ventilation components
Follow all instructions from the Lead Installer promptly and accurately to ensure efficient project completion and adherence to deadlines
Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and best practices while working on site
Requirements:
Open to entry-level candidates or individuals with 2–3 years of experience in HVAC installation
High School Diploma or equivalent
Willingness and eagerness to learn the fundamentals of HVAC installation and the trade
Basic knowledge of hand tools and general construction safety is preferred
Physical ability to perform demanding work, including lifting heavy objects (50 lbs+), climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces or various weather conditions
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation to and from the shop/job sites
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Excellent communication skills for taking direction and interacting professionally with team members and homeowners
