Journey level skill through demonstrated experience in one or more of the following trades: Mechanical (HVAC, AC/R&H), Electrical, and/or Plumbing
Experience working in the areas of building automation and mechanical systems as they relate to electric, electronic, pneumatic and digitally controlled Building Automation Systems which manage complex HVAC systems in support of critical research, vivariums, cold rooms, High Containment laboratories, and server rooms. Job Responsibility

Under the supervision of the Senior Superintendent, performs inspection work of moderate difficulty or assists senior Construction Inspectors or a subsection of a larger construction project
Reviews design development and construction documents, specifications, and bid documents for construction features prior to release for bid
participates in final inspection and acceptance procedures
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and ensuring compliance with all applicable building codes, rules, regulations, laws, etc
Inspect and verify that all mechanical project work operates according to design intent and project specifications, university specifications, common maintainability standards, and all applicable codes and standards
Identify deficiencies and make recommendations for necessary repairs or replacements
