Job Description

As an HVAC/R Field Supervisor in our Mobile Technical Services team, you will support the Operations Manager in directing maintenance operations across assigned buildings. This hands-on leadership role combines technical expertise with team mentoring, quality assurance, and operational support to ensure optimal facility performance and compliance while developing technical staff.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing expert technical guidance and troubleshooting support for HVAC/R systems
  • Training and onboarding new technicians in maintenance procedures and company protocols
  • Conducting weekly on-site quality assurance inspections across maintained facilities
  • Managing refrigerant inventory and usage to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Preparing technical evaluations and deficiency reports on existing mechanical systems
  • Responding to emergency situations with appropriate technical solutions
  • Supporting operations management with performance metrics and technical reporting

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of technical and supervisory experience in building engineering
  • Strong technical background in HVAC/R systems, specifically rack refrigeration
  • Valid driver's license for traveling between client sites
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Corrigo facility management system
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Excellent communication skills for training and mentoring team members

Nice to have

  • EPA certification for refrigerant handling
  • Experience with preventive maintenance program implementation
  • Background in commercial building operations
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency best practices for HVAC systems
  • Experience with capital project planning and implementation

  • Prior to the start of works, control and approve the Method Statements submitted by the Subcontractors, ensuring their correct application on the field
  • He/she ensures the implementation of all the HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities
  • He/she directly participates to the HSE activities at site as defined for his position in the Site HSE plan and related procedures
  • To check that the said schedule is kept to, and to promote action to recover any delay
  • To check that the equipment and manpower employed by the Subcontractor are adequate and that the works performed by the Subcontractor conform to design documents, Safety regulations, and to the Quality level fixed by the same
  • Perform inspections and sign the necessary certificates as per Site Inspection Plans
  • To prepare the non-conformity register for each Subcontractor and co-ordinate nonconformity resolution
