Job Description

HVAC Executives shall be deployed in shift rotations to maintain indoor comfort conditions & system reliability. Scope includes Chillers, AHUs, Pumps, PAC Units, Split AC Units Ventilation systems, Taking care of complete facilities HVAC System (Shopfloors & Admin Blocks). Each shift shall ensure prompt response to temperature, humidity deviations, and system alarms at both Utilities-1&2. Preventive maintenance & energy optimization activities shall be carried out without affecting operations.

Requirements

  • Deployed in shift rotations to maintain indoor comfort conditions & system reliability
  • Scope includes Chillers, AHUs, Pumps, PAC Units, Split AC Units Ventilation systems, Taking care of complete facilities HVAC System (Shopfloors & Admin Blocks)
  • Ensure prompt response to temperature, humidity deviations, and system alarms
  • Carry out preventive maintenance & energy optimization activities without affecting operations
  • Operate HVAC systems (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF, Package Units)
  • Monitor temperatures, humidity, pressures, and airflow as per design parameters
  • Ensure uninterrupted cooling/heating for critical areas (offices, data rooms, labs, etc.)
  • Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly PM as per schedule
  • Clean/replace filters, check belts, bearings, motors, valves, and dampers
  • Lubrication of moving parts and tightening of electrical/mechanical connections
  • Identify HVAC faults & take first-level corrective action
  • Coordinate with technicians/vendors for major breakdowns
  • Minimize downtime & restore systems quickly
  • Optimize system operation to reduce power consumption
  • Monitor chiller loading & system efficiency
  • Follow energy-saving practices & SOPs
  • Follow safety procedures during operation & maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with fire safety, EHS norms, & statutory requirements
  • Use PPE and follow lock-out/tag-out procedures
  • Maintain logbooks (temperature, pressure, runtime, breakdowns)
  • Update daily reports, PM checklists, and job cards
  • Report abnormalities to the Next level & Manager
  • Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, BMS & civil teams
  • Assist during audits, inspections, & shutdown activities
  • Support client requirements related to HVAC comfort
  • Maintain cleanliness of HVAC plant rooms and equipment
  • Ensure tools and spares are stored properly
  • Guide junior & Technicians
  • Coordinate AMC Vendors & monitor their work
  • Support commissioning & handover of new systems
