Job Responsibility
Perform FEED, detailed design, and engineering activities for HVAC systems in oil & gas projects
Prepare and review HVAC engineering deliverables including HVAC load calculations
Equipment sizing
Datasheets
Specifications
HVAC layouts
Ducting layouts
Ventilation studies
Material requisitions
Technical reports
Design and engineer HVAC systems such as Air Handling Units (AHU)
Package Units
Pressurization Systems
Ventilation Systems
Chilled Water Systems
Smoke Extraction Systems
HVAC Control Systems
Perform HVAC cooling and ventilation calculations in accordance with project requirements and international standards
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and HSE disciplines
Ensure HVAC systems comply with project specifications, safety requirements, and industry standards
Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, constructability reviews, and technical meetings
Support procurement activities including technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews, and equipment inspections
Interface with clients, vendors, and contractors during project execution
Ensure engineering deliverables are completed within project schedule and quality requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 10 years of HVAC engineering experience in oil & gas projects
Mandatory experience in FEED Engineering
Detailed Design Engineering
Gas Compression Projects
Strong knowledge of HVAC design standards and industrial ventilation systems
Experience with EPC/EPCM engineering projects preferred
ADNOC project experience is an advantage but not mandatory
Familiarity with international standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and API
Knowledge of hazardous area HVAC requirements in oil & gas facilities
Familiarity with HVAC interfaces to Fire & Gas (F&G) and ESD systems
Experience with HVAC engineering software and calculation tools
Ability to work in multidisciplinary engineering environments
Good communication, coordination, and technical reporting skills
Nice to have
Experience with EPC/EPCM engineering projects preferred
ADNOC project experience is an advantage but not mandatory
