Job Description

Cullum Mechanical is a trusted leader in HVAC and mechanical services, delivering reliable solutions and exceptional customer care across the region. As our company grows, we are now hiring an experienced HVAC Dispatcher to coordinate service calls, manage technician schedules, and serve as a key communication link between customers and the field.

Job Responsibility

  • Scheduling and dispatching technicians to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests, or immediate needs
  • Relaying work order information or other messages to and from technicians
  • Using telephones and text messages to contact employees
  • Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment
  • Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, and completed work requests
  • Fielding customer inquiries via phone/email
  • Opening all work orders
  • Assigning and dispatching all technicians
  • Follow up with uncompleted service calls
  • Reviewing and completing all work orders in Viewpoint
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with customers

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of related experience preferred
  • Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to be concise, clear, and consistent
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe PDF experience
  • Detail-orientated and able to function in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Willingness to perform job duties well and with pride
  • Fast learner and works well with little supervision
  • Great multi-tasking skills
  • Must be able to pass a drug test

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on residential appliances across Villatel’s portfolio
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for appliance-related repairs, preventative maintenance programs, and equipment lifecycle management
  • Manage and coordinate third-party appliance vendors to ensure repairs are completed efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with Villatel standards
  • Perform final quality inspections on appliance repairs, replacements, and installations to ensure homes are fully operational and guest-ready
  • Provide technical guidance and support to Maintenance & Engineering team members regarding appliance troubleshooting and best practices
