Hvac designer

Mechanical Designer to support design efforts for HVAC

• Associate Degree in related discipline (HVAC or Fire Protection) with two or more years of progressive and relevant experience in HVAC and/or Fire Sprinkler System Design
• Five or more years of progressive and relevant experience in HVAC Design and 3D Modeling
• Technical knowledge of related engineering systems, applications of engineering and construction methods and materials, and engineering application of computers
• Ability to plan, self-perform tasks and multi-task on multiple projects
• The position requires the ability to present information clearly and effectively through the oral and written word and utilize automated workflow systems
• Must be able to coordinate verification and validation of documents with technical and operations personnel prior to release for approval and implementation
• Ability to develop and maintain historical information
• Ability to prepare, interpret, maintain, and incorporate requirements of technical drawings and operating documents
• US citizenship is required

• Experience in Revit and Smart Plant is a plus
• Experience working with point clouds and 3D modeling software for multi-discipline projects
• Familiarity with Trane Trace (or similar programs)
