Job Description

This is a mobile HVAC Contract Manager role, covering the Northwest & Yorkshire. You'll be responsible for managing multiple air conditioning maintenance contracts, making sure they run smoothly, safely, and profitably.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing a portfolio of ~12 HVAC/AC maintenance contracts (e.g., universities, hospitals, commercial sites)
  • Leading a team of 12 engineers (including site-based and mobile)
  • Acting as the main client contact and maintaining strong relationships
  • Overseeing service delivery, compliance, and performance (KPIs/SLA's)
  • Taking full responsibility for the financial performance (P&L, profitability, costs)
  • Ensuring all work is completed on time, safely, and to standard

Requirements

  • Strong HVAC / AC technical background (ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Experience in FM contract management (not projects—this is maintenance-focused)
  • Good understanding of commercials and P&L
  • Someone robust and confident, able to manage demanding clients and teams
  • Previous experience managing engineers in a mobile environment
