This is a hybrid role based in Bridgwater, requiring four days per week on site, with support available for those looking to relocate closer to the project. As an HVAC Engineer, you will act as the link between design teams and on-site construction, ensuring technical issues are resolved efficiently.
Job Responsibility:
Act as interface between design teams and construction teams on site
Review site change requests and quality issue reports for completeness
Assess proposed solutions and confirm suitable technical approaches
Support decision making on how changes and issues are managed
Analyse recurring site issues and suggest preventative actions
Review technical documentation to ensure suitability for site use
Identify and report installation or documentation issues promptly
Coordinate communication between engineering and construction teams
Support tracking of site performance and technical issue resolution
Provide practical engineering support to resolve site queries quickly
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
Experience delivering HVAC systems within construction projects
Understanding of working within regulated engineering environments
Strong and structured approach to solving technical problems
Ability to deliver work to quality, time, and cost expectations
Confidence working with multiple teams across a project environment
Awareness of contracts and how projects are commercially managed
Understanding of construction regulations and compliance requirements
