Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HVAC Commissioning Engineer to support a major data centre project in Germany. This is a long-term contract opportunity working on a high-profile, mission-critical facility. You will be responsible for the commissioning of mechanical HVAC systems, ensuring all installations meet design specifications and operational performance requirements within a live project environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Commissioning of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, CRAH/CRAC units, and ventilation systems
  • Execution of pre-commissioning and functional testing activities
  • Participation in Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
  • Review of mechanical designs, schematics, and commissioning procedures
  • Liaising with subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives
  • Troubleshooting and resolving commissioning issues on-site
  • Completion of commissioning documentation and reporting

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Commissioning Engineer on large-scale projects
  • Data centre or mission-critical experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of chilled water systems and HVAC controls/BMS
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Fluent English required (German beneficial but not essential)
  • EU working rights or eligibility to work in Germany
