Job Description

Are you looking to work for a wholesaler with a large market share of the UK Air Conditioning market? Due to continued expansion, our clients are looking for an Area Sales Specialist to cover the North West and surrounding areas, so if you believe this is a role you could make your own then please contact us to discuss in more detail.

Job Responsibility

  • Selling a leading range of A/C equipment plus a wide product selection of ventilation units to include fans and air handling units
  • Pushing ancillaries and spares to complement unit sales or as a standalone offering
  • Developing customer accounts via targeted business development, calls, emails and visits plus managing existing accounts
  • Assisting with design, quotes and project assistance with back office support
  • Negotiating to order stage and keeping close contact to ensure successful delivery from branch

Requirements

  • Air Conditioning or Ventilation sales professional from a distributor/wholesaler or manufacturing background
  • Used to account management and developing new business, ideally with a network of customers
  • Some technical knowledge of A/C and or ventilation design/selections preferred but not essential
  • Applications also invited from those keen to move into sales to include the likes of Branch Managers or Internal Sales Engineers

  • Day to day selling activities i.e., identifying sales opportunities, qualifying them, partner with Application and Quotation for the proposals creation and presenting them to the customers, following up on them, negotiating price levels and terms and conditions within the company guidelines and assigned limits, acquiring orders
  • Achieve assigned sales and customer development quota through focus on Commercial customer acquisition and development
  • Collaborate with other departments and employees to develop the best total solution for the customer, addressing their requirements and continuously growing the level of customer satisfaction in the assigned territory, ensuring an overall superb customer experience
  • Grow business with existing Agents and develop long-term Agent's relationships. Provide sales leadership around all sales processes and functions required for ensuring success of Agents Sales Forces
  • Ensure effective collaboration and cooperation between Agents to offer the best total solution to the customer
  • Encourage customer growth and loyalty through continuous support and customer assistance
  • Develop contract proposals in line with company terms and conditions working together with legal
  • Identify and communicate service opportunities
  • Properly maintain and timely update all internal systems, including customer database, opportunity pipeline, etc. and regularly report to the management on key metrics
