Job Description

Do you want to work on the primary or secondary systems of complex high-voltage installations? Are you ready to use your technical expertise to contribute to the energy transition? Our client is in a growth phase within the energy transition and is working on the expansion and modernization of high-voltage substations throughout the Netherlands. The biggest challenge? Translating complex functional requirements into feasible designs that meet strict safety and reliability requirements, all within a rapidly changing market.

Job Responsibility

  • Designing primary and/or secondary systems for high-voltage substations (expansion, renovation, new build)
  • Translating functional designs into executable project plans
  • Preparing technical documentation and detailed engineering designs
  • Monitoring schedules and coordinating engineering teams
  • Performing quality controls and managing project documentation

Requirements

  • Holds at least Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a similar field
  • Has at least 3 years of experience in designing high-voltage systems
  • Has experience with secondary systems such as control, monitoring, and protection
  • Is familiar with Systems Engineering and project-based working
  • Has strong communication skills and is able to collaborate effectively with both internal and external engineers
