Job Description

We are currently looking for an HV Supervisor to join our Site team, in Grijotas, Palencia, Spain. The HV Supervisor will be responsible to give support to HV Site Manager on the construction of interconnection projects to ensure the fulfillment of project requirements in terms of HSE, schedule, cost, and quality, with subcontractors.

Job Responsibility

  • Support, review and provide constructability feedback on the completion of engineering specifications for construction and supply contracts for assigned projects
  • Supporting to review construction schedule that incorporate information from system design and engineering, plan to accomplish project goals and provide leadership to the project teams, external contractors, supply chain and reporting project management and company management. Critical path management
  • Maintain familiarity with contracts and documents to ensure that work is executed in accordance with Company´s expectations and that the work fulfils contractual requirements
  • Supporting to develop effective relationships with contractors, suppliers, engineers, landowners, consultants, local authorities, and team members to ensure
  • Daily construction, prestart plan and work orders planning for the project
  • Monitor and oversee civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical work at the project site to ensure it meets contractual obligations
  • Ensure projects are built according to plans created and submitted as well as to their standards
  • Review all contractors’ QA plans, PPIs & procedures and bring all plans into conformance with project requirements, supported by the project team
  • Supporting to review plans and procedures periodically and institute changes if necessary
  • Supporting to review of projects on a day-to-day basis against the progress milestones
  • Performs regular inspections and meetings to review site conditions, discuss and define areas of responsibility, clarify all issues and to ensure accurate scheduling of project related activities
  • Supporting the Company representative onsite during all equipment deliveries
  • Supporting to conducts audits of site conditions and equipment installation of subcontractors on the site
  • Supporting to performs audits of the jobsites to verify accurate completion of scope of work, supported by the Quality and Compliance Engineer. Documents and communicates all discrepancies
  • Always works safely. Adheres to all applicable safety policies. Complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Must be willing and able to take initiative and control to protect the interests of the Company and our customers
  • Knowledge of technical competency in electrical, civil, and mechanical application

Requirements

  • 2+ experience in construction of Overhead and underground lines and Substation from 66 to 400kV
  • Minimum Technical electrical education, preferably a BSc
  • Native Spanish
  • Spanish working permit
