Job Description:

The Huntley Front Desk Assistant Manager assists the Huntley Front Desk Manager in maintaining and improving lodging operations and fulfills the manager role when the manager is absent. This will include, but is not limited to: training, supervising, assisting, commissions, and guest recovery. The assistant manager will oversee all operations and communication between the front desk and all other lodging departments as well.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead by example and able to carry out all duties of the front desk staff
  • Encourage and train staff to provide the highest level of service to all guests
  • Use judgement and authority to make decisions and resolve guest and employee issues
  • Able and willing to work long hours and stand for duration of shift

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Hotel Front Desk or front of the house experience is preferred
  • Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous leadership or supervisory role is appreciated
