Job Responsibility:
Deliver a knowledge-rich 'spiral curriculum' aligned with GCSE specifications, ensuring students build deep substantive and disciplinary knowledge of global events and processes
Use formative assessment and the 'Test' phase of lessons to bridge attainment gaps and ensure every student thrives on their academic 'Flight Path'
Maintain a focused and inclusive environment using the academy's proven, highly structured approach to behavior management

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Degree: A BA/BSc in History, Geography, Philosophy, or a closely related Humanities field
Experience: A proven history of teaching Humanities within a UK secondary setting (11-18 urban experience is highly desirable)
Compliance: A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) and a total commitment to safeguarding
