Inspire Global Citizens in a Culture of Inquiry, Humanities Teacher | History, Geography & RE | Exceptional Support, Position: Temporary (Fixed-Term), Salary: £140 - £220 per day (Paid to Scale), Location: Bexley, London, Start Date: Immediate / Next Term

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality, thought-provoking lessons across Key Stage 3 and your subject specialism at Key Stage 4
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of social, political, and environmental issues, helping students navigate a complex world
  • Act as a Form Tutor, providing pastoral care and supporting the character development of our young people
  • Contribute to a vibrant department that prioritises oracy, literacy, and evidence-based argument

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong degree in History, Geography, Religious Studies, or a related Humanities field
  • A 'determined and thoughtful' practitioner who is committed to closing the cultural capital gap for disadvantaged students
  • The ability to inspire students to look beyond their own experiences and engage with the wider world
  • A professional who thrives in a collaborative, high-standards environment and is ready to make a visible impact
