Job Description:

An 'Outstanding' and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Merton are on the hunt for a Humanities Teacher for an ASAP start. This is a full time and permanent post. The current Humanities Head of Department has helped the Humanities Department grow from strength to strength. They've now got a perfect mix of young, experienced and Teach First Teachers. This is alongside multiple Humanities graduate Teaching Assistants who help raise attainment across KS3,4 & 5.

Job Responsibility:

Humanities Teacher - KS3,4 & 5
Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
Working alongside a team of fantastic Humanities Teachers

Requirements:

Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
Must be able to work as part of a large team of Humanities Teachers
Must be willing to listen to feedback

Nice to have:

Experience with KS3, KS4 & KS5
Pastoral experience
TLR experience such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator
