Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Humanities lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Teach Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4, adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment that promotes learning
Use a range of teaching strategies to inspire, challenge, and motivate students of all abilities
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice, resources, and ideas
Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and whole-school initiatives
Support students’ academic progress as well as their personal and social development
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with secondary-aged pupils
Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
The ability to communicate effectively and inspire students of all abilities
