Job Description

As a key member of the W London Talent Resources team, this role supports the daily operations of the Talent Resources Office, including recruitment, total compensation, talent development, learning, and performance culture. The position plays a critical role in delivering HR services that anticipate and exceed the needs of our Talent, drive operational excellence, and strengthen W London’s bold, inclusive, and innovative culture. In addition to core HR responsibilities, this role holds strategic accountability for the property’s Learning & Development (L&D) strategy, ensuring training programs are aligned with brand standards, business priorities, and the W ethos. The role also facilitates training and learning experiences to elevate talent capability, leadership effectiveness, and service excellence across the hotel. The HR leader ensures compliance with all laws, regulations, and operating procedures at both the Marriott International and local property level.

Requirements

  • Assists with interviewing and hiring HR team members and property-level talent
  • Maintains strong relationships with external recruitment partners and sources
  • Represents W London at job fairs and career events
  • Builds networks with local hospitality organisations and talent communities
  • Oversees the candidate identification, assessment, and selection process
  • Provides selection process guidance to department leaders and hiring managers
  • Partners with advertising vendors
  • Conducts quality control checks on candidate pipelines
  • Partners with unemployment services providers, responds to claims, and audits claim reports
  • Prepares and distributes unemployment claim activity updates
  • Represents the property at unemployment hearings
  • Ensures HR tools, systems, and resources are available to administer employee benefits
  • Develops, maintains, and executes a property-wide Learning & Development strategy
