We are looking for a highly organized and resourceful Human Resources Specialist to join our client's team in Houston, Texas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of managing recruitment, payroll processing, employee relations, and compliance tracking with precision and efficiency. You will play a key part in fostering a positive workplace environment while ensuring adherence to HR policies and procedures.
Job Responsibility:
Manage recruitment processes including sourcing candidates, conducting initial screenings, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring decisions
Utilize job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and other networking tools to identify and attract top talent
Oversee onboarding and offboarding procedures to ensure smooth transitions for employees
Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and maintain accurate personnel records
Process payroll efficiently and ensure accuracy using ADP systems
Facilitate open enrollment for employee benefits and provide guidance throughout the process
Address employee relations matters by resolving conflicts and handling disciplinary actions effectively
Monitor compliance with HR policies and prepare necessary reports to maintain regulatory standards
Support the implementation and management of HRIS systems to streamline administrative tasks
Requirements:
Proven experience in employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
Strong knowledge of HR administration processes, including onboarding and benefit functions
Proficiency in HRIS systems to manage personnel data effectively
Familiarity with ADP payroll systems for accurate processing
Ability to coordinate recruitment activities and use advanced sourcing strategies
Experience in managing compliance reporting and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication and organizational skills to handle multiple HR functions
Tech-savvy with expertise in leveraging social media and networking platforms for recruitment
