We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Specialist to join our team in Littleton, Colorado. This is a Contract to permanent opportunity that offers hands-on involvement in key HR operations, compliance, and systems management. Job Responsibility:
Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and job changes, while ensuring accurate documentation
Maintain and update employee records across HR systems to uphold data integrity
Prepare and process employment documents such as offer letters, policy updates, and acknowledgments
Support audits and compliance activities by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to regulations
Act as a key user of the HRIS system, troubleshooting issues, optimizing workflows, and ensuring accurate reporting
Collaborate with HR leadership to implement system improvements and assist with integrations or migrations when required
Generate and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and trackers to support operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and assist in policy administration
Coordinate recruitment activities such as scheduling interviews, managing candidate communications, and handling pre-employment processes
Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating complex issues as needed
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or similar role
Proficiency in HR systems management and technical tools, including Excel for data reporting
Solid understanding of employment compliance and HR best practices
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
Experience working in a multi-state or regulated industry is preferred
Prior exposure to audits, system implementations, or process improvements is advantageous
Familiarity with construction, operations, or field-based workforce environments is a plus
