As a Human Resources Specialist for Benefits, you will perform diversified clerical and administrative support to multiple areas within HR including entering transactions and maintaining personnel records, benefits, information services, policies, payroll, and employee relations.
Job Responsibility:
Provide individual counseling to employees on healthcare insurance options and plan coverage questions
Manage key benefits administrative processes, including the Benefits inbox, Dot Cares program, returned mail workflows, and the arrears process
Assist in creating reports for internal and external customers
Provide occasional support for projects including, but not limited to, annual benefit open enrollment, biometric screenings, years of service reporting, and dependent verification
Provide occasional support for weekly payroll audits and benefit helpdesk coverage
Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
Requirements:
High school diploma or general equivalency degree
Trustworthiness to handle sensitive, confidential information
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Basic computer skills and experience
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree
Customer service experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
