Job Description

The HR Shared Services and Corporate HR Manager oversees Allied Universal's HR Shared Services Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider, while also driving corporate HR initiatives, processes and policies. This dual role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of HR services through a third-party partner, while also providing internal HR leadership for corporate functions. This Manager will bring a strong background in HR operations, vendor governance, project management and corporate HR strategy, with a proven ability to manage global partnerships and deliver consistent, high-quality HR support.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the relationship with the BPO partner, ensuring service delivery aligns with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and compliance standards
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and the BPO vendor for all HR shared services, including talent acquisition, recruiting support, employee data management, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, HR helpdesk, Investigations, background check adjudications, and document management
  • Drive governance processes, including regular performance reviews, audits, escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives with the BPO
  • Ensure accurate and timely resolution of employee service issues, with an emphasis on employee experience and process efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (HR, IT, Legal, Finance) to optimize end-to-end HR service delivery through the BPO model
  • Monitor and enforce data privacy, security, and labor compliance regulations related to outsourced HR services
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the corporate and field team such as talent management, performance, employee engagement, organizational development, and compliance
  • Lead corporate HR Administrative team
  • Act as a strategic HR advisor to senior leadership in corporate functions (e.g., Finance, Legal, IT), supporting workforce planning, onboarding, employee relations, and change management
  • Ensure consistency and compliance in the application of HR policies and procedures across corporate departments
  • Partner with global HR teams to align corporate HR initiatives with regional and functional goals
  • Lead or support special projects, such as HR transformation, Mergers and Acquisitions, or workforce restructuring, as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field of study
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive human resources experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience managing an outsourced BPO vendor in human resources shared services
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle) and service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Strong experience in corporate human resources functions, including policy development, employee relations, and strategic human resources planning
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and service delivery performance in a global, matrixed environment
  • Strong bias for action
  • Deep understanding of human resources operations, data privacy regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a process improvement mindset and track record of driving results
