Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for executing full-cycle recruitment strategies, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates, as well as representing the organization at job fairs and recruitment events.
Job Responsibility:
Source, screen, and interview candidates through job boards and recruiting platforms
Conduct phone interviews and evaluate candidate qualifications
Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
Provide timely updates and feedback to candidates
Support onboarding and new hire orientation
Maintain accurate recruitment records and documentation
Track and analyze recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, time-to-hire, source of hire)
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet hiring goals
Partner with managers to anticipate and plan hiring needs
Promote and strengthen the organization’s employer brand
Represent the organization at job fairs and hiring events
Gain working knowledge of job requirements and scheduling needs across departments
Ensure timely, accurate, and professional communication
Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and goals
Maintain organized and up-to-date records and documentation
Seek assistance when needed and follow through on assigned priorities
Clearly communicate the organization’s mission, policies, and objectives
Handle correspondence and reporting in a timely and professional manner
Build positive relationships across departments
Follow up on feedback and respond appropriately
Keep leadership informed of relevant updates and concerns
Participate in meetings and contribute solutions and improvements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred)
Minimum of 1–2 years of recruiting or related experience
Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
Knowledge of recruitment processes, employment laws, and HR metrics
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent listening and communication abilities (verbal and written)
Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences and community groups
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet tools)
Ability to maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service
Professional, business-like demeanor
Reliable attendance and flexibility to meet deadlines
Valid Hawaii driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel inter-island and occasionally out-of-state
