The HR Practitioner is a core member of the HR team, responsible for executing key human resources concepts and providing hands-on support across the employee lifecycle. This role requires a confident communicator who can navigate complex Employee Relations and conflict management scenarios while maintaining a strong understanding of the Ireland Employment Law framework. You will work collaboratively within project teams to address organisational issues and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
Job Responsibility:
Execute core HR concepts including career management, performance achievement cycles, and compensation structures
Manage employee relations cases and provide guidance grounded in a solid understanding of Ireland Employment Law
Utilise Microsoft Excel to conduct data analysis and validate HR metrics to support informed business decisions
Apply strong negotiation and conflict management skills to resolve workplace issues and maintain a positive employee environment
Deliver professional presentations and maintain strong oral and written communication with various business units
Work effectively within team environments and project groups, remaining confident under pressure to solve complex problems
Apply a strong commercial understanding to HR activities, ensuring they support the broader business objectives
Requirements:
Proven HR experience within a fast-paced, dynamic organisation
Good working knowledge of the Irish legislative landscape, including the Terms of Employment Acts and Organisation of Working Time Act
Proficient in Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for creating impactful presentations
Previous experience with Workday is considered a distinct advantage
Exceptional organisational skills combined with the ability to remain adaptable and resilient in changing situations
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional standards while working with sensitive human resources data
