We are seeking a Human Resources Officer to join our team. This role plays a key role in supporting all Human Resources activities within the hotel, however, will have a strong focus on driving and delivering all Learning and Development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized and be confident facilitating training for medium-large groups.
Job Responsibility
Lead the Learning and Development initiatives for the hotel including the organisation and facilitation of all training
Work with the wider HR team and Quality Managers to track online training completion and compliance
Collaborate with hotel leaders to promote consistent career conversations with their teams that support ongoing growth and development
Support the wider HR team with Recruitment, Payroll, Employee Relations, Associate wellbeing and engagement initiatives and general HR functions as required
Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies and guidelines
Requirements
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business or a related field is desirable
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred with exposure to a customer service-based operations environment desirable
Strong communication skills are a must, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise and influence across all levels of management important
Very strong organisation and time management skills
