We are seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in the southeast suburbs of Chicagoland, Illinois. This is a Contract to permanent position that requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in talent acquisition and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will contribute strategic solutions to enhance recruitment processes while effectively managing daily HR functions.
Job Responsibility:
Streamline and standardize recruitment processes to ensure consistency and efficiency
Actively source candidates through proactive strategies and tools
Design and implement position-specific talent evaluation rubrics
Lead recruitment efforts for salaried positions, including engineering, research and development, and sales
Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including handling day-to-day inquiries and processes
Coordinate and manage open enrollment periods to ensure smooth transitions
Collaborate with organizational stakeholders to align HR strategies with business goals
Maintain compliance with HR policies and regulations while fostering a positive workplace culture
Work onsite at least four days per week to support team operations and employee engagement
Utilize bilingual skills, if applicable, to enhance communication and accessibility
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources roles, with a focus on talent acquisition and benefits
Proven ability to develop and standardize recruitment processes and tools
Strong expertise in salaried position recruitment for disciplines such as engineering, R&D, and sales
Familiarity with benefits administration processes, including open enrollment
Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple HR functions effectively
Ability to work onsite in Downers Grove, Illinois, four days per week
