Under the general supervision of the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), this position assists in overseeing assigned plans and programs. Provides oversight for HR, Payroll, Risk Management, Public Safety, and other assigned areas and functions. Additional duties include delivering training, coordinating special initiatives, and completing projects as assigned.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in human resources, management, leadership, business, or a related field
Three (3) years of progressively more responsible professional-level directly related experience
Demonstrated ability to manage a busy office
Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Must have strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Must have Payroll system experience
Demonstrated ability to gather, organize and analyze various data sets
Must have working knowledge and experience with various laws and regulations, such as FLSA
Nice to have:
An understanding of project management methodologies
Experience with Banner and Banner payroll
A working understanding of a variety of human resource functions
Knowledge of unemployment compensation, and workers’ compensation
