Robert Half is partnering with an established company that is looking for an HR Manager / Office Manager to oversee all Human Resources, payroll, and administrative operations. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who enjoys owning processes, building structure, and supporting both employees and leadership.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee all HR functions including employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, performance documentation, and compliance
Maintain HR policies and ensure adherence to state and federal regulations
Serve as a resource to employees and management on HR-related matters
Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule
Manage payroll compliance, audits, reporting, and year-end activities
Administer benefits enrollment, changes, and annual open enrollment processes
Oversee daily office operations and act as the main point of contact for administrative needs
Manage office supplies, vendors, and facilities coordination
Support leadership with administrative tasks, scheduling, and internal communication
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred)
5+ years of HR and administrative experience, ideally in a small to mid-sized company
Strong knowledge of California labor laws, payroll process, and HR compliance
Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to thrive in a role with both strategic and hands‑on responsibilities
