Job Description:

As a member of the property Human Resources support staff, the manager works with Human Resources employees to carry out daily activities including recruitment, compensation, training and development. The role focuses on HR services exceeding employee and business expectations, while ensuring legal compliance. Responsibilities also include managing recruitment processes, educating on employee benefits, handling employee relations, and ensuring workplace safety compliance

Job Responsibility:

Assists in the interviewing and hiring of Human Resource employee team members with the appropriate skills
Establishes and maintains contact with external recruitment sources
Attends job fairs and ensures documentation of outreach efforts
Networks with local organizations to source candidates
Oversees candidate identification and selection process
Partners with vendor partners to ensure effective advertisement efforts
Responds to unemployment claims
Prepares, audits, and distributes unemployment claim activity reports
Attends unemployment hearings
Supports orientation program for employees
Ensures employees are cross-trained
Supervises training initiatives
Maintains effective employee communication channels
Reviews progressive discipline documentation
Ensures safety and compliance policies are communicated in the workplace
Manages Workers Compensation claims and ensures proper care

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
3 years experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area
2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major
1 year experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area
