We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Linden, New Jersey. In this role, you will oversee various HR functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, and benefits administration, while collaborating with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals. Job Responsibility:
Lead talent acquisition efforts, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the organization
Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts to maintain a productive and harmonious work environment
Oversee compliance with employment laws and regulations, ensuring the organization adheres to all relevant HR policies and standards
Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, to support employee well-being
Supervise HR operations, including maintaining HRIS systems and ensuring accurate employee data management
Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives that align with organizational goals and promote a positive workplace culture
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, fostering open communication and trust
Monitor and manage FMLA processes, ensuring timely and accurate administration
Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic HR initiatives and support overall organizational effectiveness
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources management, preferably within the non-profit sector
Strong knowledge of employee relations practices and conflict resolution strategies
Proficiency in HRIS systems and data management processes
Expertise in benefits administration, including health insurance and leave policies
Familiarity with employment laws and regulations, including FMLA compliance
Proven ability to lead talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment and onboarding
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with employees and leadership
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
