We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Long Beach, California. In this role, you will oversee key HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll management. Job Responsibility:
Manage employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and fostering a positive company culture
Oversee HR administrative processes, including maintaining and updating employee records
Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
Handle payroll operations, utilizing systems such as Paychex to ensure timely and accurate processing
Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company
Maintain and manage HRIS systems to track employee data and streamline HR operations
Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR policies and procedures
Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational standards
Utilize Spanish language skills to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce, as needed
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and implement best practices
Requirements:
Proven experience in human resources management, with a focus on employee relations and benefits
Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll management tools, such as Paychex
Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
Excellent communication skills, including fluency in Spanish
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
Experience in onboarding processes and employee engagement initiatives
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
