We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Lincolnton, North Carolina. This role focuses heavily on payroll management, benefits administration, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in HR processes and systems, ensuring smooth operations and compliance within the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and manage hourly payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment and compliance
Handle garnishment procedures and maintain accurate records
Develop and document HR policies and procedures to align with company standards
Address employee relations matters and provide guidance on workplace issues
Utilize HRIS systems, such as Paylocity, to manage employee data and reporting
Support onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration for new hires
Collaborate with management to improve HR functions and strategies
Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all HR activities
Requirements:
Proven experience in human resources management, with a focus on payroll and benefits
Strong knowledge of HR systems, including Paylocity or similar platforms
Familiarity with garnishment procedures and payroll regulations
Ability to handle employee relations and resolve workplace concerns effectively
Experience in documenting policies and procedures
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Understanding of compliance requirements in HR practices
Prior experience in onboarding and employee integration processes
