Direct daily human resources activities and maintain consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employee support practices
Partner with department leaders to assess staffing priorities, support hiring efforts, and coordinate recruitment, selection, and onboarding activities
Provide practical guidance to managers and staff on workplace concerns, employee relations matters, and performance-related discussions
Monitor adherence to employment regulations and internal standards to help reduce risk and maintain compliance across HR operations
Drive programs that improve employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness
Administer performance review cycles and support managers in setting expectations, developing employees, and improving team productivity
Maintain accurate HR records, reporting, and HRIS data while contributing to process improvements, automation, and workforce analytics efforts
Coordinate compensation, benefits, leave administration, and related employee service functions with accuracy and professionalism
Identify development needs across the workforce and help implement training or upskilling initiatives that address skill gaps
Safeguard confidential employee information and ensure sensitive matters are handled with discretion and sound judgment
Requirements
At least 5 years of human resources experience, including work in a broad HR generalist or leadership capacity
Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance requirements, and accepted human resources practices
Experience with answering phones
Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations issues, performance management processes, and policy administration
Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and other core HR operational functions
Proficiency with HRIS platforms, HR reporting, and administrative recordkeeping
Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work closely with leaders and employees at all levels
Ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment and discretion
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
HR certification is a plus
